I am delighted to join the Lycée Français International de Mumbai community at the start of the new school year in September 2022. It is an honour for me to be in India, in Mumbai, and to be able to lead the Lycée, an establishment of excellence, located in the heart of a country, a modern city in full expansion.
I have just arrived from France, and more particularly from Saint-Mandé in the Val-de-Marne, a charming little town close to Paris, situated between the Bois de Vincennes and the Porte de Vincennes. But before that, I was head of the primary school of the Lycée Condorcet in Sydney, Australia from 2014 to 2019 (750 students for 29 classes), the Ashbury Campus of the Lycée Français San Francisco in the USA from 2009 to 2014 (450 students for 24 classes), and I also taught four years at the Lycée Français de New York in elementary school.
These 14 years spent in Anglo-Saxon schools under agreement with the AEFE (The Agency for French Education Abroad ) have allowed me to develop a bilingual education of excellence with the teaching of French and the English curriculum (USA Common Core curriculum in English for example http://www.corestandards.org/)
Our Lycée offers each student personalized support from our teachers. The student, the child, the teenager and the individual are at the heart of our school and we work together every day for the happiness, fulfilment and personal, intellectual and emotional development of your child.
On behalf of the entire LFIM team, I wish you an excellent start to the 2022 school year. We look forward to welcoming your children and our students on Friday, 2nd September for new educational adventures and wonderful learning experiences!
