In the Woods – Secondary Camp

The entire Secondary, accompanied by three of their teachers, flew to the union territory of Chandigarh, in the North of India, for a week-long expedition of rediscovering their physical and mental talents. 

Pitching their own tents, cooking food around the campfire, playing the guitar, rock climbing with classmates, practicing archery, air rifle shooting and sleeping in the outdoors. The kids took charge of their own learning, thus building a culture of self-discipline and leadership. They engaged in activities designed around the specific life skills around which the program was developed, with the intent of stimulating their minds, honing their physical capabilities, encouraging them to share their feelings and thoughts, and have constructive dialogue with their peers and the instructors.
