Made in 3D | Seed the Future Entrepreneur program

This year, the LFIM was pleased to participate in the “Made in 3D | Seed the Future Entrepreneur” program, an initiative of the Dassault Systèmes Foundation that aims to foster a spirit of innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship among young people.

Over the course of several months, our students took on the challenge of creating a real startup: imagining an innovative product that addresses a specific need, designing it using 3D modeling technologies, planning its manufacturing, and then developing a communication and marketing strategy. This project allowed them to develop a wide range of scientific and technical skills, while also strengthening their creativity, teamwork, and initiative.

The culmination of this adventure took place on Saturday, 27 June, when our students had the honor of attending the Grand Finale held on the Dassault Systèmes campus in Pune. This exceptional day allowed them to discover the finalist projects, interact with other young innovators from all over India, and immerse themselves in an environment where innovation, technology, and entrepreneurship are at the heart of the discussions.

Beyond the competition itself, this experience will remain a highlight of their academic journey. It gave them a concrete vision of how science, design, and innovation can address the challenges of tomorrow, while encouraging them to believe in their ideas and develop their potential.
