The French baccalaureate requires students to summon not just “what they know” but to test their polemic, persuasive, and organizational skills.
Widely considered to be the international gold standard in measuring depth and breadth of knowledge, critical thinking, and overall academic achievement, the French baccalaureate is an extended exam period taking place at the end of both Grade 11 and 12.
From Grade 10 to 12, LFIM provides a challenging curriculum established by the French Ministry of Education.
The Baccalaureate or BAC (not to be confused with the International Baccalaureate or IB) is an exam-driven two-year programme.
In Grade 11, the students choose 3 specialities from among the following options.
By the end of grade 11, the students answer 2 BAC examinations, the French language exam and 1 of their 3 chosen specialities.
This leaves them with more hours to dedicate to the remaining 2 specialities and the other common subjects.

Teaching a 6th grader is a different ball game than teaching a final year student. We transform from authoritative teaching to counselling and advising students, encouraging conscious independent adults, all in a day’s work.
