This year, for the 5th edition of AEFE‘s ‘Week of French Schools of the World’, celebrated from 29 November to 4 December, French schools worldwide conducted activities under the theme: ‘Arts, sciences and sustainable development: French education to prepare for tomorrow’s world’.
An opportunity for teaching teams and students to focus on the actions and measures implemented in schools and classes, particularly through artistic and scientific projects.
From education to citizenship, through eco-responsible and sustainable approaches, actions in favour of equality between girls and boys, health and well-being, etc. There are many avenues for reflection and work that can be developed in relation to the 17 sustainable development objectives identified by the UN for the year 2030.
From Kindergarten to the 12th graders, our entire school took part in this week of celebrations!

Students in GS dabbled in the arts by learning to mix primary colours in order to create secondary colours.
The Middle schoolers learned the basics of sailing with a lesson out at sea with their classmates and teachers.
Students in CM recited poetry in front of a digital fireplace.
The 8th graders set up a paper collection system on the 4th floor of the school which they will recycle themselves using a traditional method.
