The end of year shows are finally here! Performed by every class from TPS to CM2, these displays allow our students to showcase their bilingual best to an audience who loves them the most: their parents and teachers! After many weeks of daily practice, the children couldn’t wait to perform.
Day 1 of the shows began with a unique combined bilingual performance by the PS1, PS2 and MS. The children danced to English and French songs with much excitement. They then went through a fun sports obstacle course, exercising their gross motor skills to an ever-proud audience.
A stunning bilingual display by the children of MS and GS in Day 2, performed to classic English and French songs. Beautifully choreographed, the children began by arranging themselves in the form of each letter of ‘LFIM’. This was followed by a serene and calming Yoga performance of the CP and CE1, in French!
Proud parents watched as our little ones in TPS displayed their dancing and gross motor skills on Day 3.
For the first time, the pupils of CM1 and CM2 studied a literary work in both French and English. It was with great pleasure that they immersed themselves in the world of Antoine de Saint Exupéry’s famous The Little Prince on Day 4.
Presented by the CP in their English performance, the quintessential English classic Jack and the Beanstalk came alive on Day 5.
At the beginning of the year, the pupils of CE2 studied the famous text of Pierre Gripari “The witch of the broom cupboard”. It was with great enthusiasm that they staged the play on Day 6! Six amazing actors took on the roles of M Pierre, the evil notary, the witch and Bachir.
The end of the year shows drew to a close with an English musical play by the children of CE1 and CE2 on Day 7. The students performed Roald Dahl’s ’Little Red Riding Hood and the Wolf’.
